What is corporate housing?

Corporate housing, also known as temporary housing or short-term housing are fully furnished apartments or homes rented on a temporary basis. Corporate housing provides an affordable alternative to hotels or locating and furnishing a place on your own and is typically used by companies to house employees for relocations, projects, internships and traveling professions such as traveling nurses, business consultants, and contract workers.

What is included in a Travelers Haven temporary home?

Travelers Haven provides customized housing solutions to meet our clients needs. We offer a variety of furniture packages and a la carte furnishings which include housewares, sofa, linens, television, dinning sets, artwork, internet and cable services etc. Additionally, all utilities are included. You also have access to U.S. based customer support, 24/7/365.

I submitted a housing request, when will I be contacted regrading property availability?

A team member will typically contact you within a few hours, however it could take up to 1 business day.

Do you require credit checks?

We require a personal credit check for every new customer – and we promise to only run it once. This one credit check will cover all of your included services (rent, utilities, furniture, housewares, etc.) and be valid for 2-years. So, if you book with us again a credit check is not needed.

What’s the move-in process?

Let us know your housing needs, from there our team of experienced housing professionals will search for the best housing available based on your needs. We’ll send you multiple housing suite selections to choose from. Once you accept your favorite, you’ll receive your lease and your dedicated account manager will guide the rest of the process.

How do I pay my rent?

You make one convenient monthly payment via credit card or ACH through our online portal, or you can mail us a check. Your one monthly payment includes rent, utilities, cable/internet, furniture, housewares, etc.

Do you require a security deposit?

Yes, we require a security deposit on all new leases. The amount will vary based on personal credit history.

Are there properties in rural and urban areas?

Yes! We can provide housing anywhere in the United States, including urban, rural and mid-sized markets. Our inventory of 32,000+ properties stretches across more than 6,000 cities.

What are Travelers Haven’s service fees?

We include a small set-up and management fee in your monthly rent that covers your dedicated account manager and our 24/7/365 in-house support team for your entire lease period.
